I have lived in Atlanta for over 30 years and can say without a doubt..I love the Peach State!! I have lived in Peachtree Corners for 26 of those years and raised my family here. My son is a graduating Senior in 2015 and headed to college, my husband is a Builder that also builds in the Peachtree Corners Area along with many other Cities near by. I am a graduate of The University of South Carolina (Go Cocks) with a degree in Education and a minor in Psychology. I, however, have been in Sales my Entire Adult Life starting with Commercial Food Sales. After I had my son I was a stay at home mom for a few years (which believe me was a full time job) but wanted to try something else with a little more adult stimulation. With the help of my husband, I opened an Interiors Shop where we sold Home Furnishings and Gifts. This evolved into Interior Decorating also which has really been an asset in my Real Estate Career helping my clients stage their homes for Resale. I had the shop for 7 years and loved every minute of it but then came 9/11. With the down turn of the economy, I decide to change careers and received my Real Estate License.( I know what you’re thinking CRAZY WOMAN). It was a struggle the first few years with the collapse of the Real Estate Market but I persevered. I decided that I wanted to start a team and the rest is history. We formed our Team “Real Team Atlanta” and went to work. Our team developed the attitude“ Let’s Roll With It” and find a new way to do business. I received my CDPE certification along with my Brokers License and started working not only with regular sales but also distressed Sales. Our Team survived, and we flourished. Last year, in our office of over 120 agents we won some major awards for our group. Number one in Sales Volume, Listings Taken, Gross Commission Income, and Number of Units Sold. We were also honored with being in the Top Five Highest Volume Groups in NAMAR. |

I cannot think of any place better to have a home than Atlanta! While I had a wonderful childhood and college life in Ohio, I came to Atlanta over 30 years ago and couldn’t be happier. My initial career was in education, holding a dual degree in special education and elementary education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. I taught special education in Ohio and then 3rd grade in Atlanta before retiring to raise my two children. My husband Rick and I are now empty nesters but so fortunate to have our two University of Georgia Bulldog graduates living in Atlanta. Matt is now in grad school at GA Tech and Amy is working in the Risk Management field of business. During their childhood years I proudly served in many parent/school volunteer capacities. It was during that time that I realized my new and true calling was to be a Realtor where I can now assist others to own a home and be an integral part of a neighborhood and community. Embracing this new stage of my life I received “Rookie of the Year” for my Keller Williams Chattahoochee North Market Center. I have gone further to be accredited as an Associate Broker and am a Life Member of the Million Dollar Club.
